Booking and General Conditions
City & Country Breaks


Reservations should be made in writing to Iceland Excursions – Gray Line Iceland (IEG) and should contain the following information:
• Service to be included & start date.
• Number of passengers & full name.
• Date of arrival and departure
• Flight number and arrival time

Confirmations:
It is our goal to send a written preliminary confirmation of each reservation made within 48 hours, stating which services are to be included, the price and which currency is being used as reference. Final confirmation is sent when full payment has been received.

Payments:
Service should be paid upon reservation with credit card. Information needed for credit card payment:
• Cardholder full name / Company name if company card
• Credit card number & expiration date
• CVC number 3 digits on the back of the credit card.
• Card type

Change of reservation:
For changes made to a reservation within one week of arrival to Iceland we reserve the right to charge a fee from EUR 160. Changes made after travel has commenced is at the guest's own cost.

Cancellations:
All cancellations should be in writing and be notified as soon as possible. Please see following table for cancellation fee:
Time of cancellation:
Less than 4 weeks prior to arrival: 20%
Less than 2 weeks prior to arrival: 50%
Less than 1 week prior to arrival: 100%
We strongly recommend that all our clients take out comprehensive travel insurance to avoid dispute in case of cancellation.

Liability:
Iceland Excursions – Gray Line Iceland (IEG) cannot be held responsible for the facts, defaults or delay of any agent, hotel, coach, operator, airline, guide, restaurant or any other persons or companies, however caused. IEG is not responsible for losses in the event of force major, such as natural catastrophes, strikes or other corresponding causes. We also reserve the right to alter routes due to road or weather conditions without prior notice. In the rare cases that there is a double booking or a good reason for moving the guest, we reserve the right to do so by providing similar accommodation or better in the same area.
