AH18  The Blue Lagoon to Keflavik Airport All year round

Highlights:
  • The Blue Lagoon

Transfer Description

The Blue Lagoon is a unique geothermal spa situated in the youngest lava field in west Iceland.. The Lagoon´smilky blue waters are rich with special silica algae which gives it its healing powers. In the Blue Lagoon you can choose from having a massage (indoor & outdoor) a spa treatment, or simply just walk in the amazing surroundings of the Lagoon.

The Blue Lagoon offers visitors many options besides bathis, such as a fine restaurant with a la carte menu, a smaller cafeteria and the Blue Lagoon shop that sells various Icelandic arts and designer clothing as well as skin care products based on the unique blend of minerals, silica, and algae.

This tour starts in Reykjavik, where we pick you up at your hotel. We then bring you to the Blue Lagoon and from there to Keflavik Airport.

We offer 5 different departures from Reykjavík at 09:00, 11:00, 13:00, *16:15 and *18:15. If you like, you can take advantage of our complimentary pick up service, where we will pick you up at your hotel 30 minutes prior to tour departure. Please be ready at the pick up time given above and watch out for our busses at the entrance to your hotel. The driving time to Keflavik is around 50 minutes.

We offer flexible departures from the Lagoon to the airport at 12:00, 14:00, 15:00 and *22:00. Driving time to the Airport is about 20 minutes. Most airlines require that you arrive at the Airport at least 2 hours before your flight leaves, so please choose your departure from the Blue Lagoon with that in mind. Please tell the bus driver on your way to the Blue Lagoon which departure you plan to take when leaving the Blue Lagoon.

Please note:  This is a non-guided transfer service. Passengers can now store their luggage at The Blue Lagoon for a small fee.

* In June, July & August

Visitor pass or entrance fee to the Blue Lagoon is not included in the tour price but two types of entrance fee packages (standard or comfort) can be bought separately when you have pressed the “Book” button

What a wonderful experience. The blue lagoon is just a spectacular place- words cannot describe it. Make sure to book yourself an in-water treatment. Yes it's a bit more money but worth every penny. Had the best massage of my life. Getting picked up at my hotel, them holding my bags then driving me to the airport was so convenient.

Everything was well organized and communicated. Picked up at the hotel, dropped of at the Blue Lagoon and the bus driver gave advice about the best time we could leave the Blue Lagoon. Luggage was stored safely in the bus (saves a couple of euros in the Blue Lagoon itself). Highly recommended, both the Blue Lagoon and the combination with the pick up from the hotel and drop off at the airport.

Easter in Iceland 2014
Easter in Iceland is both a religious holiday and a sign that winter is over.
