Reykjavik City
The capital city of Iceland is the northernmost capital city in the world. Reykjavik populates over 115.000 people, including the surrounding Reykjavik area, the populace is close to 50% of the total Icelandic population. Reykjavik is believed to be the location of the first permanent settlement in Iceland, which Ingolfur Arnarson is said to have established around the year 870.
